Last week I visited Sussex Innovation Centre an inspiring incubator for startups, growing businesses and entrepreneurs alike. I met with the very lovely Claire Pasquill who is one of the centres advisors.
As I toured around the centre I was able to get a glimpse of some of the UK's most innovative projects in the making. It's an enormous building and although it was hard to get aware from a university feel (it is housed within Sussex University so hard not to!) there was clearly things happening behind closed doors that will reveal themselves as revolutionary.
The architectural design of the reception area was lovely and bright with a real sense of calm, complimented by the landscaped outdoor patio. I could absolutely picture myself sitting out there on a warm summer's evening enjoying a chat and a beer (hopefully at student prices!) with fellow innovators.
I hope to be collaborating further with Sussex Innovation Centre and Claire, she's a fantastic support to any business with her array of industry knowledge and super friendly attitude. And I will most certainly be popping along to their next breakfast networking meet up, well, who can resist a free bacon sandwich!
